Caitlyn Hooker grew up in Hanford, California, where her family farmed almonds and pistachios. She earned a B.S. in Animal Science from CSU Fresno and went on to complete an M.S. in Animal and Dairy Sciences at the University of Georgia. Her graduate research focused on a feeding trial evaluating anthelmintic efficacy in post-weaned and stocker cattle, as well as gastrointestinal parasitism in grazing beef cattle systems. Caitlyn now lives in Chowchilla, California, with her husband and their dogs. She enjoys traveling on weekend trips or visiting family in Idaho, and recently moved into a new home where she has discovered a love for decorating and gardening.
